Complains...

Muahaha.. I muz admit, I dun really like to complain.. I mean, I dun complain at every single thing.. Juz those super big issues.. But i finally "pluck up my courage" to send a complaint letter to Fairprice today... No choice, they sold me inferior quality goods.. So yupz, as a consumer with civic mindedness (**puke puke**), I decided to send them this email and some pics to deliver wat i wanna say, and hopefully, save some future consumers from experiencing the same problems..

This is how my email goes.. I didn wanna type so many thgs.. But u noe lah, the mood juz went on and on.. So i juz rattled on and on...

To Whom It May Concern,

I juz completed my groceries shopping at your outlet in Hougang Lifestyle, Hougang Mall on 16/09/2008 at 10.58am.

I bought a box of peaches, those which you hav packaged in a punnet. Looking from the outside, the peaches look fresh and juicy. However, when I returned home, I cut open the fruit and realised that it was all black and rotten.

I was shocked and disgusted by the outlook of the fruit. It made me lose all my appetite. However, what was more shocking was that Fairprice allowed such quality of fruits to be sold in the supermarket.

As a consumer, I did not really have the choice to choose the fruits as they were packed in a punnet. I could only make the decision just by looking at it from outside. To see such ill-quality fruits was such a disappointment. Disappointment being, not that I had purchased the fruits, but that the fruits were sold in Fairprice. After all, Fairprice's commitment is about bringing value to the consumers. With such incident, I do not know how I can ever relate such commitment to the quality of your products the next time I shop at your outlets.

I believe more checks should be done to the quality of your products sold, especially perishables. Such items are bought to be consumed, thus, the quality and state of products should be adhered to.

I had other incidents too, such as purchasing of your vegetables. They look green and fresh on the outside. However, when you open up, the leaves inside were yellow. Such vegetables could not be consumed, and I end up throwing them instead of consuming.

Attached in this email are 2 pictures which I had taken to show you the state of the peaches bought. I hope this matter will be considered with thought and not taken lightly. I do hope to hear from you soon with regards to any information which you may need.

Regards,
Jessica Foo

and i really attached 2 pics to show them the state of the fruit.
I'm not being whiny or cheapo abt buying rotten fruits.. I juz wanna bring my pts across..
As to the strong words which I had included, well... They were taught to be in my marketing modules.. "The consumer is always right."
Remember your 8Ps??
