Jie and her 3 wks stay

Jie was here to stay with us for 3 weeks.. But when she packed her stuff to get ready to go home today, i realised she looked like she has stayed with us for 3 YEARS!!!!

It all started with her having to come over to bunk with us cos her hubby is away to Aust. for training.. Then his grandma passed away, and my ma thot it may not be so good for her to come bunk with us so soon.. (well, u noe all those "pandang" stuff)

So i had no choice, i had to go stay with her at Bishan until when she's "ok" to come back. Me and pa stayed with her at Bishan until the Saturday when she can come back.. She packed all her stuff..

1. the big blue Ikea carrier stuffed full to the brim with all her clothes
2. 1 suitcase (she was preparing to go Bangkok, so she also packed her BKK stuff)
3. all the little/big bags of knick-knacks (think there was abt 3 bags of it)
4. my bag of clothes (rem i went to stay with her)
5. 2 bags of knick-knacks

with all those big bags of thgs, small bags of thgs, we looked like we were skipping town, or fleeing from creditors.. Think we looked damn hilarious lah.. When we went down to load our thgs to pa's car, he was like "y so many thgs???" We filled up his backseats (equavilent to a normal car boot size) with all our barang barangs. Supe siao lor..

And so she came back.. And the house was filled with noise and more noise.. I guess it;s becos it;s back to 3 women in the hse.. And wat do they always say, 3women=1 market.. Think it;s super true over at my hse..

but the thgs i will miss shld be all these:

1. Her bunking in with me. My bed is only super-single.. but it has to take both of us, and we r not those supermodel stick-thin type.. (so u noe de lah) I was still pondering on how we r gg to slp in the nite, cos the bed is small.. We sure cant slp well and if it;s a wking day the next day, then both of us sure die one.. Cos i will juz wanna slp during wk..
2. Her cooking for me. Sometimes she will buy stuff back to cook.. Like an additional soup last nite.. And with her back, Ma was more than willing to cook. (usually, she will juz ask me and pa to "da pao".. Super bias lor)
3. Her going shopping with me. Now, we can go shopping for both Saturdays and Sundays.. And since i was having my training for the past 2 weeks or so, I can to go on OFF on Saturdays.. So can go shop shop, and bring hell to all the salesgirls.. muahaha.. (Basically we juz buy all the winter stuff lah.. so it;s only those standard winter wear shops which we were visiting)

Basically, it's juz with an additional person, the house seems a little more livier.. Cos there will be an additional person talking.. And pa and ma can hav another person to talk to.. cos if they talk to me, i will juz "shoot" them.. Haha.. I'm not so mean lah, in case u r wondering.. I;m nice lor.. Hee

Training Started!!!

Well well.. training has started.. And i hav been reporting to Tampines UOB for the past few days, and the many more days to come.. But it was great on the whole, at least i can leave the branch for a few days, (since i also dunno wat to do there) and go for my training..

We learnt abt different money related stuff, such as the different elements and security features of currencies, how to handle and count the cash, the differnt types of cheques and their validity etc.. Pretty interesting.. Just that the tests that follow is a little turnoff.. Made me feel like i;m going for exams etc.. Just that i dun hav 15 mins reading time..

And wat can i say abt lunch.. We juz go out and ta bao back.. All the vending machines in the pantry, and the free flow of drinks.. WOW... Heaven man... we juz bunk ourselves in the pantry during lunch and tea breaks.. and we pull 3 tables tgt so that we can sit tgt during lunch. Felt like we were having conferences..

It's really nice to meet the rest of the TSO.. It feels like we are in a class.. And we r back for some lectures etc.. Think this is UOB Uni.. Muahaha
